Challenge

At the beginning of our collaboration, we had to tackle three main challenges:

  • lack of brand visibility in Google,
  • the Maps channel was neglected and inconsistent with social media and the website,
  • no control over the brand on Google Maps — both Google and users made changes, while critical reviews remained unanswered.

Solution

Improving the brand’s visibility and exposure in local search results required comprehensive action.

At the start of our collaboration, together with the client, we defined the following goals:

  • increase visits to both the website and physical stores,
  • improve the brand image on Google Maps,
  • align Profiles with the brand’s communication style,
  • respond to customer reviews,
  • react to changes made by users and Google.

To achieve these goals, we took the following actions:

  • performed technical optimization of the Profiles and completed all essential information,
  • regularly updated the offer with relevant and accurate content,
  • unified brand communication and enhanced the visual aesthetics of the Profiles,
  • improved the local SEO performance of the Profiles.

We continuously monitored progress toward our goals:

  • implemented analytics within the Profiles, allowing us to measure the effectiveness of traffic from Maps to the website,
  • regularly reported results and compared them with historical data.

Result

A partnership-based collaboration with the client and consistent activity on Google Maps led to excellent results:

By adding analytics to the Profiles, we demonstrated that:

  • the Maps source had the lowest bounce rate (only 27.42% compared to an average of 61.95%),
  • a high average session duration (3 min 18 s for Maps vs. 2 min 14 s for all sources),
  • and a very high goal conversion rate (13.34% vs. an average of 5.86%), indicating that users found what they were looking for and were more likely to make a purchase.
